Thank you all for your comments. This was taken early in the morning. I believe I was using a Nikon N90s with a 28-70 mm zoom. I probably shot this at f/8 or f/11 at 28 mm.

This image was made in South Haven Michigan. I often shoot here because the changing sky and foreground offer many opportunities to make pleasing images. Unfortunately, the weather (i.e., the sky) is often unpredictable here.

I have enjoyed viewing your photographs very much and this tulip is my absolute favorite. The color, textures and image captured in this shot depict nature at its finest. I love it!!
