Wayne,
Looks quite deliberate, and effective. Love the clouds. Nicely done.

This is so typical. Happens to me everytime I try to take a picture of my wife. Really enjoying all of your series, Wayne.

Beautiful, Ken. Wouldn't be the same without the feet. I'm sure this will make a wonderful print if you're so inclined.
Personally, I enjoy your "people in context" as you so state in your bio. This one especially.

Beautiful tones. I might have used less foreground and more sky, but that's purely personal thing.

Erwitt would like this, and I do too. Dave's comment is right on the mark.

Hi Alisa, I like the way the horizontal line falls off to the right. Takes it out of the mathmatical and into the mood. Title could have something to do with it.

Hi Alisa,
Nice reflections and arrangement of somewhat incongrous objects.

Hi Eric,
Nice picture. Almost a decisive moment. I, like the others, would have liked to see the edges of the holder, but perhaps that wasn't possible. You say you spot metered. What did you meter on and how did you place those values?
Great shark also.

Hi John,

Nicely done. I like how every sphere gives a slightly different angle of view of you and the house. Good conversion, contrast. Well done project!

Hi Adam,

I see where you're coming from, but don't worry too much about it. A satisfied customer is a good measure of success. I honestly don't understand the commentary either. Keep on working! Ratings suck, blah,blah...

Thanks Andy and AJ. Yes, this is the same curtain and general area that I've used in a couple of other photos, and yes AJ this is the same image reworked. It's amazing to me how such a small (around the kitchen window) area can yield such a bunch (to me) of interesting bits and pieces. I'm glad you liked it, thanks again.

Hi Alisa,

I agree with AJ. Great cyanotype-like toning and capture of the dimorphic saxophone player. I felt compelled to crop this on the right, but on second thought, that would have been my mistake. Don't really know why. I like this a lot and have added it to my favorites.
That Steve, what a kidder!

Geez Wayne! I come home from work and what do I find? I'm very flattered, thank you. I showed this to my wife and she just laughed and shook her head. Not at you, at me. But that's ok, I'm used to it.
The fixture is interesting to me, simple, elegantly shaped, and functional. It seems everything here in the U.S. is designed with much more complexity than is really necessary. Even down to such a simple accessory. I might have backed off just a little to catch the top of the fixture if possible. Great textures. Keep it up!

I'm beginning to be intriqued by children in an unposed environment. I also think the toy camera is not such a toy in your hands. That "bad" lens helps to abstract the mood, if you know what I mean.

Pinholes are so weird. Looks like you moved the camera during the exposure also. My first thought was that this would also look very interesting hand colored.
