When I first saw this I was impressed by the depth of colour and sharpness. Then I spotted the equipment you used - almost IDENTICAL to the setup I've been struggling with to catch dragonflies at rest. So even more impressive, given the limited DOF you presumably had. (Incidentally, I know this was taken some time ago, but do you remember the settings?)

another ripper shot from phills. love it.
Q: i still only own the kit lens (nikon 18-70). is the 'sigma 10-20' a higher quality lens? would this also be similar to the Nikon 12-24?
can't wait to try another lens...don't know much about them as yet!
