Seeing thru Holga while sitting in metro rail... Causing an interesting motion on the image, the closer objects are with more motion effect compared to objects in the back... So thot it is cool! :-)

I was told I should purchase a holga, this shot turned out really well. I quite enjoy it's mish mash and the tones are very wonderful. Nice comp as well.

OH, I love Holgas! They are so fun. I'm very tired for a hardcore critique but this is a nice composite. Good job keeping the images from fighting each other too much. Good stuff.

Hi Matej, How are you? It has been long time since I came to Usefilm...

Reg the image: I modified the title. Hope it gives some interpretation to the image.

Elangs.

Hi Elangs,
I don't know how to interpret this photo, the colours are obviously very strong and I would guess they are supposed to drive the photo, but in terms of content it's kind of halfway between abstract and non-abstract. What were your intentions?

:-) the orange petal (?) in the center is the flower from the bg!

Hi,

No, that's not what I meant - one of the orange petals (?) is cut in the top-center of the frame. It just makes the image feel incomplete. The other flower is not really noticed anyway.

Thanks Justin for the details feedback. One question though... the flower in the in front is in the whole frame and not cropped at all... in the flower in the bg is kinda of supportive or kinda of shadow to the main subject. Are you saying that you would like to see the flower in the bg also in the frame? Well... I will go back and capture it as you suggested. Because I was thinking of printing this image. Thanks again.

Elangs.

Very nice Images like this can become very repetitive, very easily - lets face it, flowers are beautiful - but every mow and then an image like this comes along which stands out from the rest. The DOF, the colour balance, everything works in harmony. The only thing I would suggest is that the whole flower is in the frame - or - you crop in closer and show a a very detailed, close up crop. Nonetheless, I love this shot
