Superb!!! Excellent composition... fine details! A great, great shot! If I had one tiny nit-pick I'd say PS the tiny hole in the upper right leaf, but it is a fine shot just as well. 7+++

Very nice composition. It would be interesting to see what the image looks like without the background images but I'm not savvy enough to figure out how to remove them on my overly simplistic photo editing software.
He looks like a big cat!!

Mindy--
Things around us that we see every day have so much beauty in their design, texture and color. Your "still life" is an excellent example of recording and portraying these things. I love photos like this as it makes us focus on the beauty contained in the things right under our noses.

Mindy, good idea for this macro, however, I feel that it is too soft, and you could have moved in a little closer and focused on the brown spots in the center of the orchid. Just my ideas and opinions.

Very nice image here, Mindy. I like how you've used low depth of field to your advantage and made the image have more depth, almost reverse psychology. ;)
