It's strange to see that you were scared by the idol too..
When I took the picture and looked at the view-finder, it felt a little creepy too..
Actually, if you see the idol, with the paper crown restored up, it is very beautiful, however, the folded paper crown has covered half of the face.
Maybe that is what is giving it the creepy effect..
