I too like the smiling, more "fun" with the pink fingernails. Best wishes, Jason

Thanks, Howie. I have another version with her not smiling (well, there may be a slight grimace) but I didn't think it worked as well. I've attached it so you can see both versions and see if you agree.

Nice depth and use of colour. I think the person would have worked a little better if not smiling but other than that, I like it.

I don't really if it's a high-key photo or not. May be an expert can say that. but the truth is I like it though I feel the exposure on the head id a little too high.

What I meant by that, was we are seeing the image as you took it, rather than post processing in a photo editing program.

All the best,

For me the people are too far in this picture,to make a difference. It is hard to guess what they are doing or how they contribute to Your photo. Are they working, taking a break or what? Only their hats are in plain view. They serve well to show how vast the rice field is. Was that Your idea?

I really like this one! There is so much happening, yet it's so simple. I see the contrast of young and old here. The young life of nature in the background vs. the aged and weathered stone walls. The girl seems much like a part of the newer life behind her, but her gaze seems to carry the burden of a much older soul. Definitely an intriquing shot. Well done
