It is a crazy tree. But, it is also intriguing and appealing. It almost looks like a friendly creature waving its arms in all directions. The lighter coloured sky behind helps emphasize the tree.

Nice! i love the copper tone and the darks together with the lighting, looks like lighting hit it and ready to explode in a grate power! to destroy the Orcs and Goblins,,,,... oh thats a bit far fetched, :) any way, neat photo! :)

Thanks for stopping by and having a looksee...I feel the picture is perfect as is for it has done its job, it was able to stop you from your busy life to enjoy a scenery, it is your own perfectionistic standards that simply will not let you appreciate it fully, that is sad for you for there are many things in this life that are not perfect yet beautiful...but don’t feel bad for I am the same way.

Aloha Frank: The offsetting white puffy clouds in the gorgeous blue sky against the opaque black land at the bottom is quite a contrast to behold but I think we have just a bit of noise to clean up ... Yes/No?

yeah, you can get a lot of the vintage flashes on ebay. I got some of these for as little as eight dollars. Now I can use them off camera flashes with a wireless tirgger and adjust the light intensity. Its a little more portalbe than carrying around a big light rig.
