Great new perspective, Duane - excellent shallow DOF - the placement of the fretboard in the centre of the image is not accurate though - there is not enough difference in the width of the flanking parts to make a compositional statement; therefore, I would suggest you crop the image to perfect symmetrical proportions.

Duane -- A beautiful and open smile that makes me smile when I view it. I like the soft effect and the blur. I believe the exposure and focus are fine for the way you are portraying the subject.
They work well to good effect.
