thanks for all the comments, i actually have two versions of this picture, in the second the d.o.f is actually deeper but i liked the feel of this one more. maybe ill post it one day

good idea but drab colors. in photoshop you can change the colors to make it more vibrant. i took the liberty to do so maybe it will help? i also added an unsharp mask to the leaves so that they would stand out more

great picture. i find it very effective but perhaps adding slight color to the flower may add something? i played with it a little bit in photoshop i hope you dont mind but tell me what you think of this

thanks for the comments. i did this in photoshop. first i greyscaled the image, then i added a neon glow filter and finally i layered another image i had taken of the road with lights and stuff that i added a motion blur to. so this was mostly done in photoshop. im glad you like it.

it is a carousel... the shutter was at 1 second if i remember correctly and i just spun the camera while the carousel was stopped but the lights were glowing.
