I think its a nice shot.... there are a couple of things that I see with it... more sharpness (maybe a scan problem if it was scanned-not sure if it was digital), I know the background tells a bit more of the picture but either it needs to be sharper as well... more detail or blur it completely out and have the main focus on the two riders/horses... But I do like the angle (composition) and your creativeness with the photo...

for your first night shot, I think you did an excellent job and with the reflection as well.. i think its a beautiful picture and its sharp...
