My thinking is that if his face is in B/W, then the background should also be B/W. Another way of approaching this would be to have the reflection in B/W and leave him in color in the "real" setting. Otherwise, great idea, good lighting and contrast. Thanks for the smile!

Great colors in the posts! However, I find myself distracted by the overcast sky/B&W background contrasting with the colors...isn't really continuous with the slanting light seen in the posts. Overall, nice, but I think I would like to see it with the original background colors.

I really like the choice of such a vibrant color for the background, as well as the slight texture of the background. The flower appears to be just a bit out of focus, but I like the shallow DOF. Very nice.

GOod pictrure! The blurred baby's breath takes away from the focal point of the picture which I took to be the hands.

I think you could have gotten her left hand in there and it would look better. I also think that if you got a little more of her face you would have a more emotional picture which is what people are lookin gfor sometimes.
