Randall, yes it was a Red Eye caused by the flash, this was before I found the red eye reduction set up on the Canon 10D, still learning the ins and outs of it. With the origional Red eye it looked really haunted and spooky, decided not to scare myself or the other Usefilm members

Megan, now tell me why does this look so familiar? Colurs are good and detail very good, But he is too in the centre Mrs Venter, Try to avoid the same distance all the way round the picture from the frame, maybe leave more space in the front when you shoot, gives it width

Living in Africa I can comment that I am lucky enough to get out into the wild often, The lens works really well, pity Usefilm members do not like Rhino, good luck on your trip

Tim, thanks for the crit, taking the lenses into Sigma at the end of the month, they are going to upgrade all of them for free, which is a real plus. This shot was taken on manual focus with the 2 x so am well pleased with the result, having the 10D now allows for 30 shots, 28 in the bin and two that can be used, a different mind set from waiting for the film to be processed.
