Ben... your photos of this tragedy is simply touching! Although I haven't been there to witness the destruction, thru your photos, it made me feel like, as a filipino, i was a victim myself. And that's very painful feeling which my kababayans felt right after. Thank you for sharing your photos.

Wow, dramatic image Ben. I like your angle and composition. The crop is great and the darkness is just right. Great portfolio too. Check out mine some time

I freeze in front of the image not knowing what to do. The same happens when some beggar is close to me. Unfortunately, I freeze, and I don't know what to do.

very sad and striking, ben! That typhoon was so far the worst that hit Philippines killing hundreds of humans mostly children... this is a reminder. Stop illegal logging!!!

Nice hue selection, adds to the morbid feel. The lighting really contributes an emotional drain in this photo. I generally pefer more contrast, but in this situation the low contrast adds to the overall sense of sadness or loss.

I usually pass by the megamall afterwork... and for sure, ive seen this beggar before... maybe that time i wasnt interested in photography yet. im actually looking forward to go to such places as quiapo or main districts of manila... where you from, ben? ur surname doesnt sound like a filipino... by the way, thanks for your comment on my image.. i accidentaly placed that lamp on those pens im working on, and thought it would look good on a picture... so there you go! thanks again!

What makes this piece even sadder is that the few coins that are in her cup are what i gave her. everyone else passing her just ignored her.
Thank you for viewing my work.

very touching image, ben. This kind of people in Manila are the ones ive always wanted for my subjects. This simply shows the truth. It's just that I guess im so unlucky enough to be living or working where you see few of them...
