Thanks for the feedback, Mister. I've greatly enjoyed your recent "return" to Usefilm, and the opportunity to view more of your work. Hope all is well with you.

OMG! How on earth did I miss this exquisite image. Jeff, this is quite extraordinary for so many different reasons - technically flawless, emotionally charged and so very aestheticaly gorgeous. Wonderful, wonderful work!!!

I marvel here not only at the moving portrait you've captured--the light, the expression, the sea of dark around her--but also the technical precision of exposure. So many levels of "black" here create a texture alternatingly crisp and soft. I love how the face and hand seem to emerge almost independently of each other, yet still are clearly connected to this emoting woman. This is beautiful, Jeff.

Oops. That's what I get for being a photo snob. I meant Stieglitz's work with O'Keefe.

Classic. It reminds me of Steichen's work with Georgia O'Keefe.

Perhaps stronger than the previous post, this excels in the yellow tones, like candlelight. It is not an overstatment to compare it to a Carravaggio. Just beautiful. Going in my favorites.

Ive gone back and forth on the cropped wrist and central placement of the arm, and I've come around. I like the cross-like vertical thrust of it, giving an interesting dynamic energy to the otherwise calm and quiet of this very well-lighted shot...

I love how the curves here work together--from his eyes and nose, to the stark contrast of his chest and the open shirt. A worthy, skillful tribute to Avedon.

Again wonderful Jeff. Technically perfect, emotionally perfect. I don't agree with another comment stating too much brightness. In fact this is a high key portrait... but the whiteness of the picture enhances the good morning/new day feeling. Just great!.
