Hi Olga, no Photoshop, glue, selotape or strings, the photo is exactly as it was taken. A very powerful magnetic force field was created enabling the coins to stay put when balanced on each other. You need the patience of a saint and a very steady hand, they will fall over quite easily. Took me about an hour to create these three piles, cheers Ted

Thank you. No you don't need a license unless you are doing it commercially, however you do need to comply with the air navigation order e.g. height restriction, distance from people and structures etc

Hi, thanks for your comments . This was created in Paint Shop Pro. First click on the clarify setting at a maximum of 20 then the high pass filter maximum setting and then again clarify maximum 20 then increase the saturation. No doubt possible in photo shop if you find the same settings, cheers Ted

A compilation of two photos. Photographed upside down with the liquid pouring out of the glasses which were stuck to a rotating mirror with super glue. FURTHER INFO:- I started off firstly with one glass and built up from there. All the glasses were completely filled to the brim with liquid and capped by atmospheric pressure using old pieces of plastic cut from butter tubs and all attached to pieces of string. The whole ensemble was very carefully turned upside down. With the camera ready on a tripod in one hand and the six pieces of string in the other, one yank and a quick click and voila you have a photo and wet feet. Must admit it took me a long time and hundreds of gallons of water and a flooded garage to crack it, but I think the exercise was worth the trouble. QED
*** The 1/30,000th sec exposure is the duration of the flash, camera shutter speed was about 1/125th, and yes I did break quite a few glasses, good job there was a ready supply in a local Oxfam shop

Hi John, its quite simple, just takes a bit of practise, not recommended indoors, try the garage, use a rubbish bin underneath to contain the water. Fill a balloon with coloured water leave it for about 24 hours (takes the elasticity out of the rubber) and the balloon bursts slower. Suspend the balloon, camera on a tripod, turn down the ambient lighting, I use an old Mecablitz flash which has a flash speed of 1/30,000 sec. Camera speed one second F8, Fire camera with one hand and the tricky bit throw the dart with the other. Keep at it, have fun, cheers Ted

Hi Alejandra, the colours are as they come out of the camera with just a slight adjustment to the white balance. I use a Hoya R72 infra red filter held in front of the lens. There are only a few cameras which will allow infra red photos the Casio EZ750 is one of them, also the older Olympus C2000Z will, Cheers, Ted http://newton-i.usefilm.com/images/1/7/1/3/1713/438561-

I love the composition, I think I would remove the white rail in the bottom left of the photo and sharpen a little overall. Thank you for your comment on my photo and the information supplied, I have renamed it 'Sadhu' Cheers, Ted Clark

Full of character, the tone is just right, don't think it would have the same appeal in colour, excellent work.
