The colors and sharpness of this little guy are amazing. I am always amazed with those photographers that shoot underwater, what a challenge! As such, the environment being what it is, the background is a little busy for such a translucent creature, and he doesn't quite "pop" like he should. Not sure if there is a way, other than through Photoshop, to darken the lighter tones in the background so that he really stands out. Again, a fun and amazing picture that just needs a little touch in order to bring it to the top of the pile.

Bob, a very strong image here. The lighting really make it! Eye contact with the subject emerging from within the underwater foliage makes for a direct composition with instant impact.

Thanks, appreciate the critique... Contrast is adjusted as good as it will go, the visibilty in this area is really quite bad; hence the 'hazy' look. In September 05 you couldn't see the pier legs until you were just inches away (oo)

Oh my goodness Bob...you found Atlantis!!! This is gorgeous. The reflected image has worked beautifully to create such a surreal image like a gateway to another world. The colours in the coral are beautiful and the fish swimming all around are.....um.....SO MANY!! The details are wonderful. This is really pleasant to view. A lovely scene. I love it.
Cheers - Ann
