Dead center may not be the best composition here, but what a great subject. Looks like a huge cogwheel. Colors complement each other well too.

Exceptional work, Joel. The muted tones, brush work and slight diffusion create a subtle painterly feel which provides the perfect environment for the painter himself. Leaving him in crisp focus -- and hence the center of attention -- was exactly the right thing to do. Fantastic!
