@Bianca: The oversaturated lights without contrast are intended to create a more surreal atmosphere.

Best regards,
Oliver

Wow, I like it. Excellent tones, the maxed out lights in the window enhance the dramatic mood. Great work ! Nosferatu is coming...

Oliver

As far as I can see a basic but very effective light setup. I like the flashed out background and the pose. Not simple, good work !

Oliver

Usually I don't like images composed out of several parts but this one has it's own mystical charme. For me the best of your Spirit Trees work. Maybe the perfect symmetry is a bit too much but overall a spendid work !
Best regards, Oliver

I really like the classic composition of this image. Simplistic and beautyfull. Maybe it's missing just a little bit sharpness, otherwise excellent !

Oliver

A very interesting and well done work. You received your goal of telling the story by using a long shutter speed and the three images. Excellent !

I liked your first "Viva" better. I like the idea of whitening the skin, but the contours of the nose nearly disappeared making the image look strange.
Best regards, Oliver

@Kaj: Yes, it's quite grainy. The shot wasn't planned and I was only carrying a Tri-X which I developed in D76 as usual. I love this combination and its grain for portrait work, maby a little too grainy for lansdcape work like this.

@Betsy: You're right. I used this signature for bigger image formats - it should be smaller for this image size.

I've seen many images of those wind power plants and they use to be kind of sterotype, but this one is special. Great atmosphere - the toning fits the image nicely. Well done !

Thanks for the nice comments
Regarding focussing: It depends what kind of filter you use. If the filter lets visible and IR-light pass (red to deep red) I wouldn't correct the focussing. Only when I shoot through completely "black" filters (lowest transmission ~> 780nm) I use the IR-correction mark of my lenses: Focus without filter in place, attach the filter and move the current focus to the red mark. I'm not quite sure concerning autofocus (I don't own any AF camera) but I remember it should work. Maybe you check the "mother" of IR-photography sites at http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mainpage.htm.
Hope this helps and best regards,
Oliver
