I think it is a dahlia. These flowers are quite wonderful and can grow as large as a person's face, which I didn't know. Thank you for your kind words.

Wonderful, this image shows your patience in capturing something we don't see everyday and it's different too. The background has been blurred and the snail is crisp and sharp. Definitely comical and entertaining.
