Lovely mood. This shot is a poem, indeed.

[...] Rien ne peut l'égayer, ni gibier ni faucon,
Ni son peuple mourant en face du balcon.
Du bouffon favori la grostesque ballade
Ne distrait plus le front de ce cruel malade;
[...]

Wonderful pic!

I had to visit this one because of the title... a work I remember reading in highschool. Thank you for visiting my Shetland Sheepdog in stereo. The pair is as I intended, but you must be one of the 30% or so of people whose eyes drift outwards (wall-eyed) rather than inwards (cross-eyed) when they relax. I'm impressed that you would take the trouble to cut and paste them to reverse the pairing. Some people post LRL triplets, so people of either tendency can look at either of the two possible pairs. Unfortunately Usefilm's rigid 640 pixel width limit makes this impractical because the pictures become too small for enjoyment. A bit like panoramas, another interest of mine. I'm busy today, but will take time to visit your portfolio over the weekend. Seems to be lots of good stuff there from the thumbnails...

This is an excellent shot, Brian! I love the angle you chose, it captures the gesture of the status beautifully. The scattered highlights are interesting, were they caused by a myriad of small floods or by reflections from a pool at the base of the sculpture? Well done!

regards,
Charlie
