Very pleasing light indeed! I like the way you framed the cityscape with the branches. Details on the buildings are sharp. That looks like the Congress Street bridge. Have you been down to photograph the bats there?

Thanks for you comment on my photo. I checked out you photo submissions, they are very nice, candid portraits... if you have not heard of it by chance, check out dpchallenge.com . It is a fun site and weekly there are different "themes or subjects" that all members try to get photographs of,like this week the theme is Rain on one challenge, and live music is the other.After submission, everyone votes on each photo, and then the photos are rated from top to bottom with the top 3 getting a blue, red, or yellow ribbon. I have not gotten any ribbons yet, but it is very fun, and easy to learn from the critiques that are given. If you decide to join, my member name is HornOUBet, so hope to see you there...

Thanks fot the comment... the light though, is from a night light bulb... this is basically a night light with the shell as the "lamp shade"... wish I could do lighting well enough to take credit for it...

I like this too! An unusual view of a sea urchin shell indeed! I wasn't a hundred percent sure what it was till I read you commentary. Excellent - love the way the backlighting has turned the shell red (all the ones I've seen are green normally) and highlighted the internal architecture of the shell. Well done!

 I was going to suggest a possible crop and then I read your comments section. I do agree a crop just to the blue of the tunnel piece would enhance this a great deal. I like the deep blues from the tunnel on her. great shot. And unless you are really attached to it... the bit of graffiti might be nice removed.

The right edge is a little distracting. Nice idea for a photo though looking through the tunnel. I think it'd work quite well after a slight crop. You've got some good stuff in your portfolio by the way. Particularly like your macros. Good work.

I keep practicing, but seem to always have "noise" in my dark/low light/ night time photos... I tried to blame the camera, but some people tell me it's me... anyone have ideas what settings I could change to reduce noise/grainy effects???
