I have almost the same camera and this shot show me that I really have to get one of those soft box. I have that lens too and truly love it. You did a good use of it on this portrait. The lack of light on the right make this portrait more mysterious, more deep. Good job and keep sharing!

Paul Lara got a point about the refraction in the water. How could it be avoided? I don't know, maybe somebody else on UF have done similar capture without this problem. Otherwise, a good capture of a pretty model. I really love the lighting and the surrounding.

Your portfolio forced me to go watch www.aubreycollins.com. Pretty nice! I enjoy listening her music.

It Will look really great in a press kit. A pretty model and a great capture! We miss a bit of the headstock but everything else is just fine.

I find it nice that she hold a different flower in her hand that what we see on the surrounding! Good idea. Maybe her expression is not fitting the mood of the landscape?

You do realize that this shot is blurry and that the "papillon" is cropped? The thumbnail looked better.

2 things annoy me in this capture. The ketchup bottle and the shoulder on the right. These 2 element bring out the artistic approach IMO.

Pretty model. But the shot lack artistic approach. It's right in the middle, even in widht than in height. Maybe a crop would enhance it?

This must be a crop of a much larger image. I almost think it could fit in "abstract" categorie because of all the lines and colour the human eye have. You didn't give any technical info so I can't suggest anything to enhance it.

A bit too soft in the front, perfect in the back. A great composition.
I also use 50mm f/1.8, a cheap little wonder.

Bon point de vue. La position du bateau est parfaite, on voit dans quel sens il doit avancer. La balance des blanc est off, c'Est ton scanner qui fait ca? Va falloir que j'aille faire un tour devant ton setup informatique, lol!
