Maybe she is more beautiful than Jim Loy... but she is NOT more beautiful than Mary Loy... Have you ever seen any of her movies? The "Thin Man" series is very good!!!

I love this.... I have a book of photos from years dropped... of people I do not know and will never know... yet, they stare at me from ages long past.... Faces thet have life and hope and love and death... glaring from their eyes. People who have lived and died... and are not remembeed for any reason.... Whatever the price/cost... the faces of those forgotten....

OH! And I understand the comment about the one line on her face..... the crease... and time passing and age knocking on the door. I understand.... well done my friend. I give you the title of Sir... now and forever... you will always be Sir to me.

Lines, lines, lines... I like the thought. It is all about the lines. Sir, after one year... my daughter is back home from the occupied territory of Iraq. She is healthy and happy... she was treated well while in your country. I thank you for the hospitality. If only the entire world could settle down and get along... so many wonderful things could be shared. I am glad and happy you found the little "dot" on the typing. Your friend and pal from the place where we walk the same path but see different things.

Sir, I meant all the version of lines: lines on the wire, lines in the wood, lines in the brick, lines of the grass growing up...lines on the old sign... lines, lines, lines, lines.
Your friend from Montana who misses his wife.

Let a history teacher enlighten you.... Early on, in photography, the glass plate negative and even the eary film, was v-eee--rrr---yyy Ssssssllllooooowwwwww to take an image. A person had to sit VERY still for (sometimes a full minute or two) a long time. A smile would look really strange if the person had to hold it for a long time. So a plain, natural face was mandatory... because of the equipment. As the equipment got better, people would smile and look natural..... and then, at THAT moment, the forced smile entered the photographic world. At first it was the equipment... then it was false. Lesson over.

George, this was made from cherries right off our tree. And she makes her crust from scratch. Funny comment about spam. Every year the state fair in Illinois holds a spam contest... some strange and interesting dishes... but I don't think I ever saw a pie...
