Wow, you'd think I would've heard about it somehow, but I guess it didn't make the upstate news. Very good photo though. Like something out of hell.

It's hard to tell the relationship between the other person and the child from the picture. Is the other just resting or is he/she looking at the child? Pof and dof are not the problem, problably the relative placement of the heads could be better. I like the tight cropping.

Beautiful, unusual abstract, Aaron. I wish it were larger so I could see more detail. An intriguing image! Regards.

The warmer tones makes a lot of sense. I agree with Hugo on the crop, just a tad tight but better than the previous presentation IMO. I wonder what it is about baby feet that give them away as such where there is nothing else setting the scale here.

Definately an improvement, Aaron! The tone is superb. IMHO, You may have cropped the image a bit too tightly, though. But this photo has an extraordinary appealing quality to it. I like it alot. Well done!

Cheers,

Hugo

this pic made me laugh and smile.. i'm at work so i really needed it.. thanks!
the little toes are just so sweet.. i marvel every time i see some like it.

As for critique - i'd like a little more soft light on the soles of the feet.. and i'd leave a little more room across the top of the image.. not cropped so tight. (but it's always just my opinion - not what you must do!)

I have just seen your second crop - it is fabulous!

I agree with Ray points.
I do like the photo and the subject is one of my favs, but as you say it can be improved. There's also something I can't quite put my finger on, but the angle (perspective?) of the legs in relation to the feet is not entirely pleasing. But maybe this is just a result of the shallow DOF blending into the background?

Hi Aaron,
What do you think needs to be improved?

I would suggest the original cropping is fine and that the tonal range is too soft and the backgroung is too bright.

I like this photo. It has a very good Depth of Fiel, and I like the perspective. Excellent composition of the two feet too! I would have framed the photo abit differently. either by trying to create equal space on all four sides of the feet and / or by using a portrait format in stead of a landscape. Another option would be to place the feet a little less centered on the photo, this removes some of the power and atmosphere of the photo. Hope this helped, but these are only suggestions on what I would have done differently.... Hence, it Means nothing....!

Cheers,

Hugo
