Thank you Jim. Yes - I have been regretting that I used such a short depth of field. It all happens so quickly that you hardly get a chance to make up for your bad decisions.
But still - the unintended emphasis on his tired hands and the glowing, passionate eyes made me still want to share.

Great shot! I think I was standing at the very same spot about a year ago. Light was way too dirty though. :(

dazzling colours... I think, a simple shadow on the paravan would add a certain depth to this image. Nice catch...

cok hafif sarsmissin galiba cekerken. sanirim tripod kullanmadım. o da olsa, tren ile istasyonun kontrasti daha carpici olurdu sanki. kamera, sürreel tadi kuvvetlendiriyor. cok iyi!

the colors remind be pf the commercials from 60's. the modernity of your subject makes a strong contrast with that impression. liked it very much.

Hi Murat, thanks for your comment. By leaving her face out, I aimed to keep the girl's as well as grandpa's chracter out of the frame to enable the observer to focus on the mystery of the child. Maybe, a "heavenly" beam of light illimunating the child's arm and foot would have made my aim clearer.
