Hey thanks!
I know I find it difficult keeping the horizon straight whilst hand-holding my camera, I didnt have my tripod with me that day!

I agree with you although i like the fact that the colour is a little oversaturated because it gives the photo a warm relaxed feeling...

Personally, I would have got more of the flame and smoke into the frame instead of leaving a black area at the bottom.

Thanks for your comment...yeah i love clouds too, they r so interesting, every minute they change and you can just keep shooting and never get the same shot twice! I love sunsets too...u have a great sunset shot in your portolfolio!!

The fact that we can't see his face gives off a mysterious mood...is he happy or sad? did he have a good fishing trip or not?

The story behind this photo is very short actually, i was camping with a few friends and suddenly the sky turned grey and it became very windy and slowly this waterspout started developing above us and within a few minutes it was in its full glory! The photo was taken with a very old film camera (not slr) so the quality isnt very good!

Yes you're right, i used to use film and i prefer it so much more to digital, i miss it alot but i find digital better because i dont have the expense of processing the films and its more convenient and easier to carry around!
