this is a technically good close up that has a nice abstract feel...the toning is appropriate and somehow the image looks very 'alive'...
i like it a lot!

Great perspective - the angle really shows the height of this monument. Great capture!

great image Sion, sort of abstract
not sure about the colours though, colour slide film IR gives really weird, intense colours, may be PS's version is a little too subtle
anyway this image is strong enough to stand without any added effects

Great perspective of a landmark. Clouds make the shot dramatic and moody. Best wishes, Lily.

yes,the mood is nice and the composition effective, but it might also be good to move much closer to the person and have it fill your foreground - this way the background would retain its minimalistic beauty but the foreground would gain more impact. i don't say my suggestion is better,it's just how i work in similar conditions ;-)
be happy Sion,

kostas

This is a neat reflection picture. I see you have cropped it to just leave the 'main event' so to speak. It is quite effective.
Thank you so much for your suggestions for crops for my Dark Brightness picture. There is never just one right way, I suppose. You have given my ideas to try with this and other pictures. I apperaciate your taking the time to write your suggestions.
Take care, Mary

This makes a cool picture. I have not tried manipulating my pictures yet. It's great to see the neat effects, like this, that can be achieved.
