Beautiful Franz...the eye seems to go forever..lovely composition and color. I am hoping to get back in my photo mood, the past few weeks have had me packing, evacuating, unpacking and waiting for the next evacuataion..very little time to get out and capture Florida beauty..but I sure do love seeing other parts of the world through this site....Gloria

ahhh...what a beautiful capture. An old navy man told me that while on ship at sea, they would call these clouds mackeral scales..mare's tails..it always ment that rain would fall in the next 48 hours....Gloria

Thank you Jim...yes, the strange weather has left me and most of Florida a little uneasy. The past month has been very strange, and hopefully things will begin to settle down and I can get back to some kind of routine. I took this shot a week before Florence...and have not been out since, lol...soon I hope.

Fantastic perspective of this impressive building...whenever I pass it, I find myself wanting to pull over and capture it. Thank you Opal...I will be praying for you and the rest of the folks in the panhandle. I am packed and ready to evacuate to my parents, if I am told to do so, but as of now, they think this part of Florida will be bypassed. Thank you Neal...and I will go into hiding on Sunday or Monday. The good news is, my father arrived yesterday, so I will have company while we wait out Ivan. When talking to the customers that come into dinner, it seems many are leaving the state...this one has a lot of the locals nervous...but my parents home is a fortress, and this time, I will have a computer, lol.
