This is a marvelous shot. I have never seen a dragonfly of this color. The technical elements are very good indeed. Coral's idea of cropping is certainly worth trying, but it is a delight as presented here.

A difficult subject nicely 'captured'. The subject gets a bit lost due to the active background. However, with insects it is so difficult to be selective. Perhaps, cropping to offset the subject and using the stick as a leading dynamic from the corner?
