The depth of field shallowness is extreme. I would like to see the subject in crisper focus though and not in the very centre of the frame :)

Very interesting. I would have liked it even more if it was composed such that the flame pointed into the photo...but i like it!

Karen, the easiest if you are not familiar with masking is to select all, copy, paste as new layer. The top layer you sepia tone. the bottom layer you reduce the saturation just so that it has the right amount of original color that you like. Then simply either use the eraser (with a soft brush) and erase out parts of teh top layer where you want the color bottom layer to show through. Or use the selection tool, and select the top layer parts you want to cut out (maybe with a bit of feathering) where you want the botom color layer to show through. Then flatten the image and voila! Done. Masking works in a similiar way - but is a bit more involved, it's all explained in the help and there is even a tutorial in the learning section of the help. Hope you have great success - we look forward to seeing the result

The lighting is fantastic, the motion of the activity brilliantly captured as the simple tasf grinding something made look very artistic. thanks for sharing

Hi, the image looks very pri-mordial-oozy. I like the way (what i presume is the) sky is being reflected, the texture of the subject, how well the title goes with it and the rudeness of it

Very beautifull. I agree on the tilt - some horizontal correction might be in order. I don't agree on cropping out the bottom blue part though - it really pull you and leads you into the arches

wow this is beautifull. sttangely, he still seems like a happy person despite all the hardship evident in his features. well that's what it looks like to me anyways. I never give a 7. - this one gets a 7 ! If he could be positioned on the left, looking into the frame (instead of out of it like now) i would even have given it a 10 out of 7!

aaah . . I dont know why, but the dark vertical area on the left really works form me. The picture looks already framed and has the quality of "being on a wall"

The original actually speaks to me more than the PSed one. It has much more life than the supposed "live" one. Just my Opinion
