Thank you Angelo. The bird is known as a Bluejay. I appreciate your suggestions and I will try to see if I can capitalize on your thoughts. I am not very experienced in photoshop so I reckon it will take a while for me to figure out but I give it a try. Thanks again. =)

Excellent color Cessy. It amazes me how the underside of a tulip can make such a nice picture. I would never have thought of taking a picture at this angle. Beautiful.

Wow, super clear shot Cessy. Original idea to get the young man holding the balloon as well in the shot. I like it.

The color is capture is excellent in my opinion. Really pulls together the warm and cold feelings. Your experiments always seem to turn out really nice. It seems your ahh I just tried this out to see how it would look equals a very nice photo to look at.

Cessy,
I find many great photographers on this site and yet I am compelled to say that your work is my favorite. This is an amazing shot. Feel like I can step right onto the landscape.

Ok I feel dumb, I was looking at my camera and reading about shutter speeds. Now on my camera it displays S 5'. Which I mistook for being 5s like posted above. I guess it is really 1/5 of a second and if It were 5 seconds it would of read 5" on my camera. Hence the magic of no tripod. Feel free to slap me with a fish! =)

Excellent macro Marilyn. I find macro photography is my favorite to try to accomplish. From the looks of things you are well on your way to doing a fine job at them as well. I can recommend a co-worker of mine Stephen Bowden for examples as well. He tends to thrive in that area and could provide some handy tips if needed.

Welcome to Usefilm and great shot Marilyn. I love the colors and setting. Only one thing negative I can say about it and that is: Get out the lawnmower and leaf blower because that is a lot of yardwork for someone. =) Again great shot and keep them coming.

Thank you Marilyn. Although I must say I think its the camera who did all the work. I too am trying to master my day shots as well. I have a rather good knack at blurring a ton of pictures before one comes out ok. =)
