Ain't Italy beautiful? It sure is high on my list - I'm so jealous. Are you there right now? Oh yeah, great shot (but then I expect that from you :-)

This is a really striking (pun intended :-) shot - well composed but I would really like to see the young ninja's eyes in sharp focus, it would make for an even more powerful image.

Neat creative project. Thank you for posting the link. I also appreciate the lighting and setup info. Of all the shots in the project so far (and they are really cool shots) I think I like this one the best.

Nice image but I would like to offer some suggestions in the use of the rule of thirds. Your image places the horizon line just about in the center of the image horizontally while the dock is centered vertically. This divides the image in quarters.

The rule of thirds divides the image into three horizontal sections as well as three vertical sections. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of cropping your image to use as an example. I added a rule of thirds grid to illustrate my point. I aligned the horizon line of your image with the top third and then aligned dock with the left third.

Of course, rules are made to be broken so it is really up to you which composition your prefer. I probably wouldn't have gone on like this if you hadn't mentioned the rule of thirds. :-)

Very nice presentation - I really like your lighting. I find it devilishly hard to get a good shot of a daffodil but you have a real winner in this one. Very nice work.
