As bad as this bus wreck looks and could have been, I am happy to report that there were no serious injuries or worse. Perhaps the most serious loss was to the bus driver's under shorts !
I am sure he had to change his short after this close call !

I was in my car traveling at 60 mph. Moving yes, scared and shaking no.

Dawn,
This is a great image of NYC. Obviously we are all too tragically aware of what two large structures are missing from the skyline. As terrible as that event was and still is for many of us, your peaceful image reassuringly brings things into perspective. Even in the darkest hours, with the bleakest weather, the sun will eventually to come up. Peace

Dawn,
This is an excellent image of the street life in Chicago. It is so nice and refreshing to see a "conservatively dressed modest lady of virtue" walking the street, on her way to "choir rehearsal".

Dawn,
This is a great shot. And typical of the fast paced and always on the go life of my hometown. Great work.

Dawn,
Great shot. It definitely shows an aspect of life in Chicago.........that is "constant change" . The old makes way for the new. Every time I visit the old hometown, I am suprised to see what is being torn down, or what is missing and used to be standing in the now vacant lots. Good work!

Paul,
I think both men & women who are in relationships, or on the verge of ending relationships or have been in a relationship, know only to well exactly what the "Walking on Egg Shells" phase is all about! That initial phase in a potential break-up can also be called "The Quiet Before The Storm" phase or "The Cold War Before It Gets Nuclear Hot" phase! (Laugh) Peace!

Thanks for your comments regarding my image titled "Even A Broken Watch Is Right Twice A Day". Please accept my compliments on your image "For the health of the clocktower". Images like ours, featuring watches and clocks are always "timely". (smile). Peace!

ppdix,
Hey thanks for your comments. I confess to being a frequent viewer and an admirer of your work. Your are very creative and your work inspires me to be more creative. Regarding my image of the "Mannequin Orgy", perhaps the man in the picture should be crying instead of smiling. I would be sad and crying if I was surrounded be all those beautiful naked women , and I lacked to "necessary equipment" to service them! (Laugh) Peace!

Jeroen,
I was assigned to an air squadron that was part of the USS Enterprise Airwing from 1975 to 1979.
I made a couple of WesPac cruises on the "Big E".
Thanks for your,(I guess its called "concern?") re: my having or not having a copyright to the image in question. I shot that picture from the top of the ships island during flight ops on the Pacific Ocean sometime during the 1976-1977 WesPac cruise. I have many negatives to prove it. At that time there were no restrictions that I can recall. Since my recent purchase of a new film scanner, I am re-discovering and posting images shot long ago.
By the way do you know what the initials "MYODB" stand for? Those initials mean "MIND YOUR OWN DAMM BUSINESS" !!! Peace !
