I can see what you measn about the reeds in the foreground competing with the windmills. I think I'll take your tip and try a little PS to see how it looks in B/W or sepia.
Thanks

Great! The reflections of the sky really make it look like you could fall off the edge! Wonderfully spotted and executed.

Mark,
Very nice reflection and the blue of the boat really grabs your eye. I wonder if a little cropping on the top to make it a panoramic format would draw the eye more to that lovely boat.

Interesting perspective on the subject. Nicely spotted and captured. I like that you've made it into B/W as colour probably wouldn't give the same feeling.

That's a lovely natural pattern and the colours are perfect IMO. Tuscany is on my list of places to see - so many to see now, so little time

Looks great even with the unlevel horizon. Lovely atmosphere in this image as well, probably due to the extreme stillness. I had a glance at your portfolio as well. Very impressive images. They are all very good.

I like the B/W version. It has loads of mood to it. Great compostion too. I wonder if you could have dodged the boys face a little to give a bit more detail in his face. Then again perhaps he's too far away anyway. Great image.

Kevin,
That's a very vivid sky scene you've managed to capture here. I like the way that you've managed to capture the "silver lining" by waiting until the cloud passed in front of the sun. I took a look at the crop you've made of the chillies. I think your right, this concentrates the attention without distractions. Thanks for the input.

Great evening shot. The figures walking off in the distance add a little something to it as well. Out of interest which bridge is this in London?

This image really caught my attention. The bleak sky and background contrast drastically with the bright blue boat, but it works really well in my opinion.

Great airy feel to the image Barry. I was wondering if cropping out the partial chair on the left hand side would make it a little less distracting and concentrate the attention on the rest of those welcoming chairs?

Kevin,
Hello. Great picture!. I love the simplicity of it and the repeating pattern within it. This would look great enlarged and hanging on a wall.
