Its interesting how the subject softens the tone of the beach. And the way the picture is taken you really get a feeling or a sense of what might interest her at the beach with the sand on her fingers and how she seems headed towards a grassy area.

I really like this grouping of pictures together. The shot with their feet on the stones really gives you the feeling of humans invading a space which is not their own. And yet the girl holding the glass being so fascinated with nature... shows our natural curiousity for it.
All in all I think it really shows what a field trip is about.
