I tried capturing these kind of scenes but without much success. I guess nature and landscape photography isnt my thing. Yours are beautiful. You took this at exactly the right time. The fog really sets the mood for this picture. I like the low angle and composition. Nice colors.

Nice object to photograph. I think it is ashame that the backside isnt as well lit as the front. The key to shooting these simple objects is symmetry. It looks weird with this lighting. You should try and light the back as well. So you get object wel lit and thus creating summetry. Just my opinion. You should try it.

As you can see i raised the gun and removed the neck and hair. Let me know what you think.

I like the mood of this picture. The bright spot on the gun is distracting. Did you use flash here?
I think the picture would work better if you really isolated the gun and the face. Now you can still see the hair and face. Check out my example

I really like your series Rare View. I think this is one of my favorites. The boy's expression is beautiful, you captured the perfect moment of this prayer. Without the boy this picture would pretty standard. The choice for B&w is the best choice. I think photojournalism works best in B&w. Maybe if it was taken from an even lower angle it would look even better, than the boy would stand out even more. The walls are bit bright, maybe some PS could help with that.

Good luck with your exhibition. A series worth exhibiting.

Nice abstract, Pieter.
Truely great composition. With the stairs going from top right to bottom left. I really like the shadow on the steps. Very nice strong tones, duotone works nicely. I like the lighting, slowly fading from dark (right) to bright (left).

Very nice capture, Cihan.
Lighting is very good, the picture is pretty dark but you can still see the details on the chest. Nice crop and background. Details and colors are what you would expect of the 20D.

You should check out my portofolio. I also shot a Spawn action figure once. Although not as well done as this done.

It reminds me of Eugene Smiths'work. He had a project named Pittsburgh. It almost looks the same. Only your version has more silhouettes than his. Lovely composition and reflection. You should look that picture up.

Haha so funny. I have photographed the exact same scene. Only without the man itself. I took when is was on holiday in Paris. I will try and upload it so you can see.

Nice DOF. I like the sepia tones. The pose really shows the anticipation. Good composition with the fence and the people. Amazing how you got this shot sharp with the slow shutter speed. Did you use a tripod?

Super shpt, Hasan!
The simplicity is just great. The lines make a nice composition. Really nice touch that the plane is flying in the samen direction as the lines. I like that the lines cross each other. It breaks the pattern. Well spotted.

Really dramatic shot.
The tones are very strong and dramatic. The sky looks amazing. Some nice reflections on the car. I love the feel of the picture, very well done.

Nice macro.
Beautiful reflections and colors. I feel that the crop id too tight. The watch isnt centered in the middle. Especially on the top is very noticable. Other than that, a job well done.

Beautiful macro, Andrew.
I would have never figured out it was a hair brush by myself. It does kinda look like lines of soldiers if you use your imagination. Very nice DOF with only the tips of the pins showing. Maybe B&W would look even better than color.

Very nice composition. I really like the fact that the hands of the man are showing. It sets the feel of the picture. The hands make it seem like he's having a slow day. Good choice for the B&W it fits the picture well.

Gongratulations on BIP.

Wow this is really dramatic.
I love it. The dark tones are very nice. The low DOF adds to the alienation theme. I also like the fact you see only silhouettes, this also adds to the theme.

Great street shot, Lorena.
You really captured the atmosphere. Doing what old people are best at, just sit and watch the world go by. I like the choice of B&W. Tiny point of criteque, the feet of the most right man are cut. It would have looked better with him fully in the frame. But other than that, very nice composition.

Very good macro.
It looks like it is more of an abstract, which is great. Lovely composition and angle. The pink tones are very nice. The way light reflects is beautiful. I also like the reflection in the waterdrop.

Very good portrait.
I like the low the angle. The light is also beautiful. The skin tones are quiet simply amazing. I like the expression on his face. It is very intruiging. It is very hard to tell what his thinking.

Very good atmosphere. The color range is fantastic. I really like that purple, surreal look. The sky has a very nice gradient. I am not sure about the spot in sky though. Is that the moon? Maybe you could use PS to get rid of it.

Very nice collage, Tracey!
I love the stuff you do with PS. This also has a wonderful colours. I like the sepia toned look. I especially like the photo with the rings. It has a very good angle and DOF. The text adds a nice effect and is very subtle. You present your work well.

What a great shot, Carol.
I really like it. First of all i like the composition with the two girls dancing and the sign fits exactly in the frame. I also like the fact the you only see the silhouettes of the girls. It adds to the anonymous and bizarre character of the picture. Last of all i like the grainy film effect and the choice for B&W.

Great shot, Francesco!
I really like the composition. The boy hanging on the mothers shoulder is excellent. Also i like the dreamy exoression on his face. It looks like he is fascinated by something outside of the frame. The skin tones are also very nice. Very good portrait.

WOW this has such a great atmosphere, Raymond.
I like the beautiful sunlight here. The smoke and the sand give a great mood. Also very nice colors. I like the contrast of the people moving in the front by the gun. And the soldiers in the back standing still. Like there is not a care in the world. It is really weird to see this gun being fired here. And the desctruction it causes elswehere.

Very good colors. It has very nice textures as well. Although i could use a bit less exposure. The walls are a bit too bright if you ask me. Other than that, a job well done.
