Definitely agree with Rob on this one. This shot has great composition and will be fantastic if you sort out the red/orange light (presumably the sun was low in the sky?)

Very well spotted, the strips of light and dark makes for a very interesting shot which has been perfectly composed, cropped and shot. The reflection of the street behind adds a whole other dimension of interest to the photo. I like it!

I was drawn to this shot by its colours, but love the angle you've taken it at, it really makes the shot special.

Great capture Paolo! I like the composition of this shot, with the window positioned to the right. As someone has said before, her wrinkles go well with the stone walls.

My only minor complaint would be the burning on the left and top of the frame, which seems to have lost much of its contrast and overlapped onto the frame (you must have burnt the image after framing it).

As someone said before the reflection on the window is slightly off-putting but as this shot was obviously taken candidly there would be no time to think about fitting a polarizer.

Otherwise a fantastic image!

Interesting idea, it works well and I find myself strangely drawn to it. Good creative PS work!

This is a great shot, the composition, the colours, the dramatic sky and the reflections from the beach create a fantastic seascape.

Amazing colours Neil, a real summer evening feel to it. Great exposure, the grass/crops in the foreground give a nice depth of field.

Think I prefer this one to the other as I can see more detail on the harvester.

Good idea, think it'd look pretty neat on a T!

Just out of interest, what did the original photo look like? Am interested to see how much PS you've done....

Maybe 1970's glamour actually!

The sun and lens flare really make this shot! The desaturation really brings a feeling of 1960's glamor to a very well taken fashion shot. Amazing!

Yeah, really amazing tones and contrast! The girl looks very much at ease, very candid. It's a 7 for me and into the favourites.

Nice composition, although I might have preferred the large boat to have been within the frame too.

Think the JPG compression has maybe left the image slightly lower in quality than the original but it's still a really great shot!

Yep, this is your best shot. The colours are spot on, like the deliberately masked de-saturation and nice composition too!

Cracking macro, DOF is perfect and like the offset composition. Must try this!

Thanks for the comments! I must agree AJ, I've cropped the image and it does indeed look better, thanks for your very constructive comment!

I really do like this fisheye lens of yours! This one really does look great in b&w, exposure length and timing are perfect!

Surprised this one's had no comments...

Great use of a fisheye, love the idea and love those lines. Works well in b&w, would have liked to see how it looked with colour film though!

One small point is the shadow running across the lines on the road, maybe removal in PS to make this one perfect?

Would agree with the comments with regards to proportions but I'm sure you could repeat the shoot if you wanted to polish the final photo.

The main thing is you had the idea and vision, which I think is fantastic!!

Hey Steffen,

This is definitely your best climbing shot. Love the symmetry between the sky and rock and the deep blue sky.

Looks like nice rock to get holds on but not many cracks for protection!

Would love to take some climbing pics but would need to learn how to climb trad or find some outdoor sports routes.

Great little macro here! Greast DOF bu it must have been tricky getting the focus spot on? I've actually been thinking about buying that lens, would you recommend it for macro and/or low light work?

Fantastic! You manage to capture shadows, light and dark so well. Love the way the shadow joins the dog to the woman and also the detail on the ground. Very impressed, your work is a real inspiration to me.

Very very seductive. The soft focus and colours really compliment the pose to make things very sexy indeed! Light through the window is great with just enough of the face lit to show her features, yet give her a mysterious ambiance!

Just brilliant!

Nice Capture, castle interiors offer themselves to some amazing photos.

My capture is very similar to yours!

One of those photos you could stare at for ages.

Great composition, great use of desaturated colours and great PS work (or camera work!) to create some superb shadows, lighting and edge burning.

Fantastic.
