Beautiful capture, it's as if we are standing right there. Have you done Oak Creek during the fall? With your photography talent, I imagine you would take (or have taken) some awesome shots. Thanks for sharing. Jan

thanks for your comments/visit to the photo. I took the picture in the first week of January 2005 -- in the middle of quite the rainfall of the year!

This is one of my favorite places to go on a day trip. Would like to know when this shot taken as the colors of the rocks and greenery normally aren't this intense. Of course we have been blessed with a lot of rainfall the past 3-4 months, so everything is green and growing right now. This shot is a nice change from the traditional Red Rock Crossing pictures of this particular rock formation.

Hi, Noreen. I looked at all three of your blooming desert photos - and they are all quite good. I especially liked the DOF in this one. In the thumbnail, the sunshine looks almost like a hand getting ready to pick a blossom...

Noreen, beautiful shot. I really like that you have included the cliff in the back in your composition, providing a sense of location. Very well done.

i think that you use to sensitive film so technically this picture is not so good, composition could be better too(so that we can see whole reflection) but anyway this photo has story and atmosphere and that is the main thing, very good
