Very eerie feel to this image. I agree with you, sometimes I feel like this. That the world is becoming very dark and turning a bend, leaving me behind. Well done Devin.

Good idea but a GREAT result Devin, it does make for a super abstract - love the lighting and toning also.

Yeah, but I like being "dark & moody" because then people don't expect much from you and are always surprised when they find out you're smart and capable. Especially teachers, they never expect me to be an A student, and I fool them all the time. So it's better in a way.

And then go see Kelly Munce, Roger Skinner, Ian McIntosh (Tell Ian, "Jim from Illinois says HEY!") And here is a tip. Check out the bio page on all the photographers. You can learn a lot about them personally there. And many change it weekly so ya have to keep checking in.

Just keep experimenting and clicking. This is a very good start. Let your imagination see it, then capture it on film/digital. Check out the photos of Paul Lara, Gabrielle Willson, Rebecca Raybon, Keven Collier, Dorothy Diliddo, Trish McCoy... you cannot go wrong with any in that group. Tell them I sent you along... after they insult me, I am sure they will welcome you.
