Almost !!! almost it was a great photo, but the pic is blurred and the rear angle arn't complimenting as well the shadow on the nestling head.

It should be a great macro but the upper cropping the too bright back of the perch and the lack of focus reducing the whole quality.

nice deatils and dof .. but i think it wasn't the best time for the lighting! a part of the insect's back is washed out!

On my laptop screen, it seems to be lacking contrast! Plus, it could be sharper!

Hi Roberto,
We are very fortunate that our property borders the banks of a creek, In Vancouver WA. This was taken quite late in the day, so it was maximum F-stop and quite a slow shutter speed. Even though the conditions weren't ideal, it was better than not getting the shot at all. I thank you for your comments.

What a lens you have! Seeing that it is a VR, I will assume that the blur to this image is caused by the movement of the beautiful deer. Other than the blur, this is a stellar photo. A fantastic subject and flattering photo qualities.
