This shot is striking. That's one amazingly shallow dof you've managed to nail for yourself there. The colour and shapes almost lend themselves to the realm of abstract. Just fantastic.
Had this one open last night, but got distracted. Curse Grey's Anantomy! ;D Seems I have to get my drama and scandal fix from television these days. What happened to the forum here? It's as dead as a dead thing from dead land. Not even Kambizz is around any more to spice things up!
Sheesh, something better explode soon for my money's worth, I tell ya...
Thanks for the visit Robin :) Cheers, Rina.

Wonderful soft portrait again Ray. Love the big woolly jumper and her pose. The only thing I would suggest (and I know you don't like to fiddle too much), is maybe some very careful dodging to lighten the dark circles around her eyes. Alternatively, you can use the healing brush tool, sampling the light area of her cheeks and carefully dab starting from outwards in? It's only a minor thing, but would lift the face enormously.
Hey, hope you're doing ok my cheeky pom. 'See' you again soon!
Cheers Rina xxx

All your macros are jaw-droppers, honestly, not a foot wrong. Simply amazing clarity in the reflection on that droplet of water. Superb light, superb work. Best of all, you share the techs with us.

Both are incredible macros Glenn. Perfect colour, detail and exposure. If I had to decide between the two though, I'd lean toward this composition. Only because I find the diagonal tilt more appealing.
Beautiful images...

LOVE the expressions here Randee! Too cute That's not a bad camera phone you've got there either. Produced some great definition, colour and light. Personally, I think the inherent grain gives this image huge character! What a crying shame those blasted things can't take a bigger image... This would definitely be worth hanging up on a wall, LARGE!! ) Well done snapping this one.
Cheers Rina.
