Your printing is excellent.
Did you burn the bottom two corners?
I might have used a lighter touch there,
But it's all a matter of the effect you want.
It is beautiful the way it is.
I'll keep an eye out for e-mail.
I have an aggressive spam filter.
Try to send something from your old
addy if possible, give me your new
addy so I can put it on "allow"
list.
Strong winds caused power lines to short
and start little fires, but we were never
in any danger of getting singed by the
big fires. It was, however, very dark,
smoky, ashy, gritty here for days.

Here's what I would try as an experiment:
Make BW print of your daughter, frame it, maybe with a white mat, in wood. Make a color print of your son, frame it, matless, in aluminum.
Hang 'em next to each other on the wall. See what happens.
I just spent a day with my sister, at my parents home. We are so very different, yet, in ways the same.

You nailed the contrast.
Beautiful detail/form in the
highlights and shadows.
At first the hat being connected
to the chair leg bothered me a bit,

Gorgeous little girl.
Great capture.
Beautifully presented.
Everything works to capture
and keep a viewer's attention.
Lovely subtle tonal gradation.
Symmetrical but dynamic,
compostion with swirling
lines that keep sweeping
my eye back to the deep
gaze of her almond eyes.
My only suggestion is to
keep a wary eye out for
dry lips. On a model this
young, just use tiny bit
of lip gloss, or have her
lick her lips.
