Hey Astrid,

Glad you like my works, i didn't have any professional help with photography too, just my eyes and vision and ofcourse some reading and research for the techniques.
i would gladly have a look at your portfolio but i am at work now and it is a hard night :)
seems you spent alot of time in Egypt as i can see from your portfolio. and the Wheat was used in a vase on a colleague's workstation.

Hey Astrid,
i kinda quitted Usefilm but your comment maid my day. This is Mounira, my cousin's baby girl and ithink i do adore her even more than her father :) she was leaning on her uncle's shoulder looking at the window and she was at the last moments of fighting sleep. she was closing her eyes and quickly opening them like she doesn't want to fall asleep :)
she is almost 12 months old now and she became very naughty. i will try to post more photos of her soon.
seems u are a fond of Egypt. take care.

Fousha Basha,
very nice photo, very expressive lighting for the chair.
i think you should have zoomed alittle more to avoid the chair arm on the left.
well done and was a nice chance meeting you at Antar's

This is Really CLOSE Susie, me too always liked flowers, specially as gifts, but i admit i never felt their true beauty untill i started photographing them. wonderfull DOF for this photo. i would also suggest a symmetrical photo for the inside that shows the 4 POM-POMS equally around the green Cheerleader and the white ring around them with equal DOF, i think it will turn out good.

very nice photo Mike.
i do agree with most of what Bob said, but i assumed that the tree branch wasn't avoidable. and i did think about cropiing from the bottom but i wouldn't like to loose the stepped stairs as i think they do add balance to the sitting man as if it was a statue.
the only thing that makes me wanna crop out the left half is that its very bright compared to the rest of the photo, and the man is really close to the right edge of the photo.

very interesting composition Nermeen.
i like it alot and i think it is very dynamic.
the saturation is alos nice, i would only suggest if you looked alittle up to decrease the floor at the foreground and show more of this amazing blue sky.

Hi Nour.
i agree with you, what this photo really needs is a polarizer filter. i had to choose, either a faster shutter speed, which will show the sky in a perfect exposure, but will darken the sand, and will loose the water color. this one i posted is optimum for the sand and water, and less better for the sky, i think a polarizer and maybe a grading filter will make the sky perfect, plus i had to use the wide lens for this photo.
i appreciate your comment, and infact you encouraged me to try it i am posting a photo with selective editing to see what it can be like. thank you Nour for bringing that up.

nice low angle Omran.
i like the area at the right with shadows casted by the clouds. it adds to the contrast of the photo as a whole.
well done.
