Hi Miodrag,
Thank you very much for your kind critiqe. The Tokina 11-16 2.8 is a superb lens in many tests it equals the nikon plus a constant 2.8

Hi Anindya,
Thank you very much for your kind critique, using grads is sometimes a little hit and miss, I mostly use gradual grey grads where the transition is softer and you can burn back slightly, but well worth the trouble.

Hi John,
Thanks very much for your kind critique.
It is an HDR using Photomatix pro, it is so much better than photoshop cs3, if you go easy on the sliders you can get quite realistic results. I have just downloaded the beta vesion of Photomatix 3. Give it a try.

Hi Nick,
Lovely detail, I am just back from Tiree one of the small island on Scotlan's west coast and the sea colours and beaches are amazingly similar. Super shot.

Nice shot Flotti,
As Jim say's the layers of colour work well and the foreground green seaweed is quite striking. All the best for the new year.

Hi Giulio,
I like this photo, the warm sidelighting brings out all the textures in the sand and the large log looks quite primaeval. All the best for the new year.

Hi Sam,
You are very kind, I have had a wonderfull welcome to the site. There are lot's of passionate photographers involved with the site.
I think if all the photographers had some input running the planet it would be a better place.
Thanks again and have a wonderfull new year.

Hi Roger,
Nikon are still using the smaller sensor, i don't think they have any plans in the near future to introduce a larger sensor, but you never know. The only problem with the full sized sensor is you have to use the best quality glass available the bigger sensor is very critical.

Hi Roger,
Thanks very much for your critique, but after 30 years i am still looking for the perfect shot.
As to the D200 I have had it almost a year now and i am delighted with it, pin sharp 24"x16" are the norm and A3 inkjet prints are amazing.

Hi Roger,
This was taken on a clear morning just after a touch of frost, mid October it is only slightly more saturated than it really was, but forgive me i was a fuji velvia user for 20 years. I also use the new Nikon NX raw converter to tweak areas, but i don't do hdr images it has some way to go yet to look anywhere near natural.
Kind Regards Douglas

I was just looking through the long exposures photographs, this is one of my favourite subjects moving water. Lovely colours and movement and the leaves just set it off. How do you like your D200,I got mine in January and love it.
