Hi Roger: Interesting lines leading through the image. The horizon feels a little off to me tho. I think this would be cool in B&W. Good work, Debra

Dear Luis: Thank you for taking the time to see my work. Your portfolio is an inspiration and in a league above the rest. Do you have exhibits? If so may I ask where? Debra

Hi Tim: One of my favorites of your most recent work. If I am being picky, I would prefer to see the foreground rock not merging with the reflection. Otherwise awesome! Deb

Hi Keith: The colors are really fantastic! Bull calves are so cute for the first few months, and really fun to watch. It is just about the end of calving season here in Alberta so we have many to watch right now! All the best, Debra

Hi Stan: Please check out the photo and info that Jen van Wijn just posted. She is describing your blue-eyed friend. You will find it interesting. Debra

Hi Jen: We have a saying "do you know why the Indians were so mad when they got to war?" "Because they were riding Appaloosas!" lol, these horses are not noted for their easy-going temperaments although one should not generalize. It is a very cute foal, and I do hope you will keep track of his color change as he grows. Thanks for sharing all the info. Debra

Hi Roger: This is a cool group of photos you have posted. I wish more people would post racing pix, they can be very dramatic. This is my favorite, as it really depicts the movement. I used to exercise race horses and it is VERY exilerating! Regards, Debra

Great capture, and excellent warmth of color. These guys are often in view but difficult to make a good composition. Well done! Debra

HI Kaveh, this program looks really fun to play with and I like your idea. The tree is the same size as the giraffe and I think it would look really cool if the tree was much smaller, giving the giraffe a dominant role, and maybe a better shadow. Keep going, these are fun to view! Regards, Debra

Hi Tony: thanks and yes poodles rule. I think it was Siegmund Freud that said that poodles were so odd that other dogs must perceive them as belonging to a strange religious cult. You must own one to understand. I am posting another view today. Debra

Hi Jen: Yes the moose is one of my favorite animals ever. They are so athletic and jumping a fence this size is no problem at all. They just walk up and SPRING over! Deb

Dear Jacques: This is a gorgeous photo! I will be in the area of St. Lazare in the middle of May next month. Can you recommend some easy hikes to nice areas for landscape photos in that area? Regards, Debra

I love the image, especially the tree against the sky. This is so awesome and strong I might have been tempted to crop in tighter, removing all of the stone wall on the right. At any rate a really super image, Mark. Regards, Debra

Thanks to Ronen and all of you that commented on this photo. Situated where I am just between the mountains and the plains there is quite a diversity of landscapes. I think we often pass by the beautiful fields in search of the dramatic mountain-scapes, so I am glad this simple evening view of the prairie was enjoyable to all.

Glad you like this crop. I debated whether to crop it down so you could see the deer up close, but opted for a more artistic version with open space. This was taken between my place and Okotoks. Deb
