Hugo,

Thank you very much for the feedback - I appriciate the time you have taken to do this.

Generally it is my intention to "break" the rules.

Thanks Peta - great to hear back from you too - and the digital - startin' to feel the itch - I just love medium format so much - and of course the cost to go digital there is beyond frightening - but yeah - startin' to feel the itch.

Thank you for the kind comments - and the YYC - very simply they are the call sign for the airport that the photo was taken in.

YYC=Calgary International Airport

I was in Calgary last week for my fathers surprise 70th birthday party.

Thanks for the comments - The bad news is that I don't have that camera any more. I've moved on to Nikon and Mamiya

When I first saw this I though it was a pool of blood in cotton cloth - very abstract.

I enjoy this photograph, however I find the yellow framing distracting and takes my eyes from what should be the center and focus of the shot.

If I were to play with the crop - I would try bringing the right side in a tad. The right edge as the thumb sticking up I find it a little distracting.

It was a bright and sunny day. We were sitting at a table on a balcony overlooking the beach and boat launch and this was the exact reflection just as I saw it. No manipulation in that sense. Luck of the light perhaps.
