Wow, Dave, an amazing capture! Tack sharp and definitely tells a story! Seriously, a 16-35 lens? How close were you?
It's a great shot!

Thankyou, Kim. This was taken at the top of the Going-to-the-Sun highway, in Glacier National Park, USA. The goats and deer there live life surrounded by cameras and tourists, 6 months a year. I think the ungulates benefit from this, as large predators like wolves, wolverine, and even grizzly stay back when challenged by the overwhelming tourist crowds there. This guy didn't even flinch when my obnoxious EOS3 shutter let loose. Like you say, with my wide angle lens, I could have touched the antlers.

LOL at your comment! I'm sure they meant it with the highest respect for your image!
What a beautiful setting! And it looks like you are so close to the deer and it hasn't even noticed. (okay, and looking at your lens you used...is this your own personal trained deer?)

Thanks for noticing, Mike and Anne. It was fun to practice with the photoshop 'pen', for isolation of layers.

Thankyou, Mitra.
That 15mm gives an optical illusion on screen, with your eye seeing a pincussion photo, to try and warp the horizon back to straight.

This should go in the "FRESH!" project because the water and the trees look springtime fresh! This is really an excellent photo... I love how the power of the water is close to the viewer...right on the edge! I could almost reach into it and feel the coolness of the water. Actually I don't know how I am missing all your photos but glad I hav discovered them now. All are so beautiful and technically perfect! Glad you are here sharing your images with us all.
