I like the idea you had for this. The difficulty is that the stream, which I assume to be the primary point of focus in the frame, is a bit lost in the surrounding trees. I think it needs to be a bit more distinct so it serves as the anchor point for the whole composition. I just wish I had a better understanding of burning and dodging techniques to make some more concrete suggestions. I still like what's here and I think there's a lot of potential for this.
