About This car has set in same spot many years-perhaps as long as 15 years. It is in fairly good shape, needs a home and work. But the original owner is now deceased and his relatives are not at all interested in selling. ( I understand thaqt some big money has been offered for it) But it is going back to mother earth. ( lol) Taken at sundown.

There's something about an old car, old house, or old person that is just absolutely magic. It's not exactly nostalgia, it's just that things acheive a certain beauty with age. Photography is magic too, in the way it can capture, interpret, and save that beauty. Nice job here!

Thanks Kevin:
It is about age and partly about the stubborness of some people. I am sure the owners would like to take this vehicle with them when they expire-but they want.

thanks Jim:
I believe someone will eventually get it from the people that own it ( I hope)

What I love about your image is that I didn't have to read your description to know that this photo is about age. the rust, the weeds, the colors, and even the position of the objects all speak to the ancientness of this car, and it makes for an awesome mood. great job!

I'm glad you were there to immortalize it before it decomposes. Good job. Would like to see more of this.
